Fabiola Widjojo is a highly accomplished pianist and passionate educator with over 20 years of private teaching experience. She has successfully prepared students for music scholarships, entry into the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS), and guided many students to success in both national and international piano competitions. In addition, she has extensive experience preparing students for diploma-level examinations, with many achieving outstanding results.
Fabiola began her piano studies at the age of four and has trained under several distinguished teachers, including Prof. Max Cooke, Dr. Julie Haskell, and Timothy Young. She holds the DipABRSM, LMusA, and AMusA in Solo Piano, and is herself a prizewinner in numerous international competitions.
A certified Yamaha and Suzuki teacher, Fabiola brings a wealth of pedagogical expertise to her teaching. She combines discipline with encouragement, tailoring her approach to suit each student’s individual learning style. Above all, she is deeply passionate about music and finds particular joy in nurturing young musicians, helping them grow in both skill and confidence.
Alongside this studio, Fabiola also runs another successful piano studio in Canterbury, continuing her mission to inspire the next generation of musicians.
Caitlin is currently studying at Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. She was a student of Fabiola from 2010-2016. She has been a student of Dr Julie Haskell since Year 6 in 2016. In 2018, Caitlin was awarded the Bendigo Eisteddfods Leila Watson Scholarship. She was also awarded in many other Eisteddfods.
Caitlin was the winner of VCASS Junior Music Most Improved Award in 2018 and VCASS Junior Music Award in 2019. In that same year, Caitlin also received the VCASS Phyllis McDonald Piano Scholarship and successfully passed her AMusA exam.
In her leisure time, Caitlin enjoys singing and painting.
